Mens Golf
Tulsa senior Kevin Henry helped lead his team to a sixth-place finish at the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate on Saturday, Sept. 10. Out of a field of 74 participants, Henry posted a eighth-place individual finish with rounds of 71, 71 and 70, for a four-under par 212. The Fairfield, Conn., native is also ranked 75th nationally by Golf Week.
Womens Golf
Stacy Prammanasudh, a senior from Enid, Okla., ended up with a third-place individual finish to lead Tulsa at the NCAA Fall Preview in Auburn, Wash., on Sept. 24. She scored an even par 144 with rounds of 73 and 71 in a field of 123 players. This was her 18th career top-five finish. Prammanasudh also currently holds a Golf Week No. 4 individual national ranking with a rating of 69.30.

WAC Player to Participate in College All-America Classic
Tulsas David Inglis has been chosen as one of 24 players to participate at the 2001 Savane College All-America Golf Classic in El Paso, Texas, on Nov. 19-20. Inglis also represented Great Britain and Ireland at the 2001 Palmer Cup last June.
Fresno State to Play Host to Fresno Lexus Classic
Fresno State is set to host the 2001 Fresno Lexus Golf Classic on Oct. 5-6 at the Sunnyside Country Club. The Bulldogs look to compete against 15 other teams in the event, including four conference schools. San Jose State, UTEP, Hawai`i and Nevada will all participate in this weeks tournament.
WAC Golfers Participate in LPGA Event
Tulsa seniors Stacy Prammanasudh and Dani Mallon, along with Coach Melissa McNamara participated in the Williams Championship, an LPGA Tour event which consisted of a field of 144 golfers, at the Tulsa Country Club on Sept. 7-9. Prammanasudh and McNamara received sponsor exemptions, while Mallon carded an even-par 70 at the qualifier.
SMU Ranked in Coaches Top 25 Poll
The SMU mens golf team has recently received a No. 24 preseason ranking by the Golf Coaches Association of America. The association re-tooled its polls this season, with member coaches ranking the top 25 teams in Divisions I, II and III. The poll will be released once for the fall season, then bi-weekly beginning on Thursday, Jan. 24.
