Athletes of the Week

Mens Cross Country
Tulsa sophomore Owain Matthews helped lead his team to a second-place finish at the ORU Oklahoma Classic on Saturday, Oct. 6. The Luton, England, native posted a fourth-place individual finish with a team season-high time of 25:03. This was Matthews second top finish for the Golden Hurricane this year.

Womens Cross Country
Cheryl Smith, a senior from Kirkland, N.Y., led Hawai`i to a first-place team finish at the Willamette Invitational on Satuday, Oct. 6. Smiths time of 16:56 earned her the first-place individual finish as well. This was her fifth top finish for the Wahine this season.
