Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Dec. 3)

Rices Elisa Inman has been named the Western Athletic Conference womens basketball Player of the Week.

Inman, a sophomore center from Wadsworth, Ohio (Purdue), led the Owls to a 67-54 upset of No. 21 George Washington at the Gene Hackerman Rice Invitational. Inman led all scorers with 20 points and added 13 rebounds against George Washington. Inman added six points and nine rebounds in Rices 61-42 win over UNC Greensboro.

For her efforts in the Owls two wins, Inman was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. In the two wins, the sophomore center was 10-10 from the free throw line with 26 points and 22 rebounds.

Behind Inmans strong play, Rice is off to a 5-0 start this season. The Owls are the only remaining undefeated WAC team.
