The Hawaii womens team will host BYU tonight at 7:00 (Hawaiian Time). The Rainbow Wahine are 23-6 for the season and are coming off a 73-57 first-round victory over Santa Clara.
Two WAC mens teams are gearing up for tough road games in the mens NIT.
Tulsa plays at Minnesota tonight at 8:00 (Eastern Time). The Golden Hurricane, 22-11, beat UC Irvine in the first round, 75-71. Minnesota (18-13) won its opener, 87-78, over Villanova. The winner will play the winner of the Pittsburgh/Mississippi State game.
UTEP travels to Memphis (18-14) for a second-round NIT game tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). The Miners, 23-8, are having their best season since the 1991-92 Miner team went 27-7. That was the last UTEP basketball team to win two post-season games, a feat the Miners will try to duplicate tomorrow night.
