DENVER Hawaiis Yan Chen has been named the Western Athletic Conference swimming and diving Athlete of the Week.
Yan Chen, a freshman from Da Lian, Peoples Republic of China, won both the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.25) and 200-IM (2:04.72), while finishing second in the 200-butterfly (2:04.22). She was also the anchor led of the 200-freestyle relay that finished with a time of 1:37.57. The Wahine fell to Pacific in the dual, 171-113.
