UTEP's Miranda Cuthberson was named to Soccer America's Team of the Week for Sept. 23-29. Cutheberson, a senior from Kamloops, B.C., Canada, recorded her second hat trick of the season, scoring three goals and one assist in a 6-0 win over WAC foe Nevada.
She had five goals and five assists for 15 points over two conference matches. She had a school-record four assists in the 10-1 win over Boise State, adding two goals. The four assists also tie a WAC single-match high with Jennifer Biondi of UTEP against Troy State in 1997.
