HONOLULU - The Nov. 10 volleyball match between No. 1 Hawai`i and No. 4 Stanford at the Stan Sheriff Center is sold out, the UH ticket office announced today.
Sunday's match will mark the 11th sellout at the Stan Sheriff Center for women's volleyball since they started playing their matches in the arena in 1994. Two of the 10 prior sellouts have been against the Stanford Cardinal, in 1996 and 1999.
Hawai`i is 7-3 in sold out matches overall, and is 0-2 in sold out matches vs. Stanford.
The match should top the Rainbow Wahine's season-opener with 9,495 saw Hawai`i defeat Ohio State, 3-0.
