Boise State and No. 17 Fresno State both face No. 27 Washington State this week in Washington. Fresno State will also face off with Washington after taking on No. 40 South Alabama on March 6. The Bulldogs defeated No. 68 Loyola Marymount to improve to 5-3 this spring. After two weeks off Hawai`i takes on Sac State. Louisiana Tech has a busy week as they face four opponents in three days this weekend. After a 1-1 week, Nevada is off for most of the month, until they go to Irvine, Calif., for a tournament on March 24. With a conference loss to UTEP, Rice looks to get back on the winning track, with North Texas on Sunday. San Jose States loss to CS Northridge was its sixth in a row, losing earlier in the week to Louisiana Tech. SMU, who knocked of UTEP in a conference battle, next squares off against Utah. Tulsa went 1-2 at the UNLV Tournament, early this month, beating No. 67 New Mexico, but losing to No. 6 Wake Forest and No. 40 South Alabama. UTEP won their fifth straight vs. Rice, a school record.

Tulsas McMurray Reaches Milestone
The No. 51 Tulsa women's tennis team improved to 6-2 this season and made Hurricane head coach Paige McMurray the winningest tennis coach in school history with a 5-2 victory over the University of Texas-Arlington. With the win, McMurray surpassed former women's coach and current men's head coach, Vince Westbrook, for first place among Tulsas career coaching leaders with her 53rd career victory.
