San Jose States Helle Gram has been selected as the Western Athletic Conference womens golfer of the week.
Gram, a senior from Bagsvaerd, Denmark, finished tied for fourth with a three-over-par 147, at the Peg Bernard California Collegitate hosted by Stanford. She was the highest finisher among the WAC golfers in the field. The finish is her best of the 2001-02 season.
Grams next event will be at the WAC Championship, April 22, in Reno, Nev.
Others Nominated: Marie Beasley of Boise State finished tied for 15th at the BYU-Dixie Classic. Her second round 70, ties her for the second-best round in Bronco history.
