The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee announced their regional selections Wednesday. Tulsa was selected out of the Central Division with the automatic qualifying WAC Championship win. San Jose State was selected to the West Region.
Tulsa, won the 2002 WAC Championship on April 24, giving them an automatic entry into the NCAA Championship. The Central Region will be played at the Forest Akers Golf Course in East Lansing, Mich. Michigan State will be the host.
San Jose State entered through the West division, after taking second at the WAC Championship. The West will be played at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford California. Stanford University will play host.
Both regions begin play on May 9 and continue through the 11th.
