Tulsa Women Win NCAA Central Region Golf Title
The Tulsa Golden Hurricane won the NCAA Central Regional Championship at the Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, Mich. WAC Player of the Year, Stacy Prammansudh won the individual title shooting a three-over, 219.

Tulsa grabbed its third straight team title shooting a final-day 290, giving the Hurricane a three-day total of 914, four strokes better than Ohio State and Texas who tied for second. Tulsa began the day in third, but quickly moved up by placing three Hurricane in the top 11.

Prammansudh's individual title is the 10th of her career which is one shy of the school record held by Nancy Lopez. She finished the regional four strokes better than Kent State's Martina Gillen who claimed second.

The Golden Hurricane will now head to Seattle, Wash., for the NCAA Championship, May 21-24. The trip is the 17th time in school history for Tulsa, as they look to earn their fourth national title.

San Jose State tied for 11th at the West Regional, in Stanford, Calif. The Spartans were led by Helle Gram who tied for 29th.
