DENVER San Jose State third baseman Kevin Frandsen and right-handed pitcher Jeremy Rogelstad have been named the Western Athletic Conference Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for April 29-May 5.

Frandsen, a sophomore from San Jose, Calif. (Ballarmine Prep), hit .467 (7-15), drove in seven runs and scored five runs in four wins for the Spartans last week. In a three-game sweep of Hawaii, Frandsen was 5-for-11 from the plate with a double, a home run and six RBI.
