Regular season play declares the 2003 WAC Softball Champion. The champion will earn the WAC's automatic bid to the 2003 NCAA Tournament.
This season, there will be six teams in the WAC with the addition of Nevada, and the subtraction of affilate teams Loyola Marymount and Portland State. Fresno State looks to win its fifth-straight title and sixth in seven seasons.
