Six of the nine WAC women's soccer teams begin the 2002 campaign today. Rice has the toughest challenge of the day, heading to College Station to take on fifth ranked Texas A&M.
The Bulldogs of Fresno State will take on Colorado in Boulder, while Hawai'i plays host to Alabama-Birmingham. Nevada takes on Cal State Northridge in Reno and 24th ranked SMU will face Duquesne in Dallas. Tulsa heads to Norman to face instate rival Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Shootout.
There are eight more matches scheduled over the Labor Day weekend.
