DENVER UTEPs midfielder Holly Cohen and goalkeeper Kyla Clark have been named the Western Athletic Conference womens soccer offensive and defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Cohen, a senior from El Paso, Texas, earned her second straight Player of the Week honor. This week, Cohen helped the Miners to another perfect weekend, winning the Miner Classic. She tallied five goals and an assist, totaling 11 points for the tournament. She now leads the WAC with 10 goals and 22 points, helping the Miners to a 5-0 record on the year. She recorded her second hat trick of the season in a 4-1 win over New Mexico. She also had two more goals, including the game winner, in a win over Texas Tech. In five games, shes already tied the schools single-season marks for goals (10) and points (22).

Clark, a freshman from Ottawa, Ontario, went 2-0 in the net for the Miners. She recorded 19 saves in over 161 minutes with no goals allowed. She also earned her second shut out of the season, in the 3-0 win over Texas Tech in the Miner Classic.
