DENVER Tulsa forward Danielle Fauteux and UTEP goalkeeper Carol Moore have been named the Western Athletic Conference womens soccer offensive and defensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Fauteux, a freshman from Kamloops, B.C., Canada, recorded her second hat trick of the season, scoring three goals in a 4-0 win over Drury. It is her second hat trick in the past three games. She was named to the Golden Hurricane Classic all-Tournament team.
Moore, a junior from Dallas, Texas allowed just one goal in 192:56 minutes of play for a goals against average of 0.47. She went 2-0 on the weekend with one shutout. Moore came in off the bench to replace starter Kyla Clark who left with an ankle injury.
