DENVER Hawaii forward Natasha Kai and SMU forward Kim Harvey have been named Co-Western Athletic Conference womens soccer offensive Players of the Week, while Hawaiis Krystalynn Ontai was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Harvey, a senior from Garland, Texas, scored all four of SMUs goals over two conference matches. The Mustangs defeated Rice, 1-0, and knocked off Tulsa, 3-2. While collecting her third hat trick of the season, Harvey now has seven game-winning goals this year. The four goals gives her 10 in conference play. Harvey is now third on SMUs career list for goals (58) and points (135).

Kai, a sophomore from Kahuku, Hawaii, tallied 10 points over two conference matches, scoring all five goals the Rainbow Wahine registered. Hawaii picked up a, 4-1, win over Nevada and a, 1-0, win over Boise State, both on the road. Her game-winning goals were her fourth and fifth of the season. She now has 21 goals on the season, giving her 37 goals in 31 career matches.

Ontai, a junior from Miliani, Hawaii, anchored a defense that posted back-to-back road wins against Nevada (4-1) and Boise State (1-0). She helped limit Nevada to just three shots, while Boise State only registered five and was held scoreless. It is the eighth shutout this season for the Wahine, the fourth in conference play.

Other offensive nominees included: Katri Nokso-Koivisto, Fresno State; Angela Furin, Rice and Kate Stevens, UTEP.
