The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its Division I All-District Teams recognizing the country's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes. The WAC had four players named to the teams.
Louisiana Tech senior forward Antonio Meeking was the WAC's only first-team selection. Meeking was named to the District 8 team and averages 19.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. SMU's Quinton Ross was selected to the District 9 second team while Hawaii's Carl English and Nevada's Kirk Snyder were named second-teamers in District 13.
Nominated and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across the country. The 150 student-athletes, from 15 districts, are now eligible for the NABC Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the regular 2002-03 season.
