DENVER Fresno State sophomore Chloe Carlotti has been named the Western Athletic Conference womens tennis Player of the Week.
Carlotti, a sophomore from Paris, France, picked up the Bulldogs only win in a, 6-1, loss to No. 1 Stanford. Carlotti, the No. 27th-ranked player in the nation, defeated the nations 17th-ranked player, Amber Liu, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. The sophomore All-American ran her record to 11-5 on the season, 2-0 in dual-match play.
Carlotti looks to continue her winning as the Bulldogs take on No. 17 UNLV.
