TULSA RETURNS TO NCAA TOURNAMENT Tulsa, the WACs tournament champion, is making its eighth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the last 10 years and is the only WAC representative this season. This marks the first time since 1983 that the WAC has not had at least two teams in the NCAA Tournament.

NIT TAKES TWO Hawaii and Nevada are also making postseason appearances. The two teams are competing in the National Invitation Tournament. Both teams begin play on Wednesday night on the road.

TULSA WINS FIRST TITLE After coming up short in the three previous WAC tournament championship games, Tulsa finally earned its first title. It was just the fourth time in the last 13 years that the home team has won the WAC tournament.
