Boise State Men's Tennis Team Earns Right to Host Regionals

LAS VEGAS - Boise State's Thomas Schoeck and Luke Shields won the ITA Mountain Region Doubles Championship Sunday. Matias Silva lost in the
singles championship of the ITA Regional Championships. The Broncos, as a team, earned the right to host the ITA Mountain Region Championship the weekend of January 22 in Boise.

UNLV's Henner Nehles, seeded first and ranked 46th nationally, downed seventh-seeded Matias Silva of Boise State 7-6, 6-0 for the Main Draw
crown.

Thomas Schoeck and Luke Shields teamed up to down Marcos Digliodo and Chad Tsuda of Colorado 8-4 in the title match.

Nehles, Silva and the winning doubles team all earned spots in the 2004 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at the University of Michigan on Nov. 4-7.

Boise State's men earned enough points to host four-team Regional Championship the weekend of January 22 at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.
Boise State will be joined by UNLV, New Mexico and Colorado in a one-day event that will determine which team from the Mountain Region earns a spot in the Indoor Team Championships.
