DENVER SMU defender Kimber Bailey and Hawaii defender Jessica Uecker have been named the Western Athletic Conference womens soccer offensive and defensive Players of the Week, respectively.
Bailey, a freshman from Garland, Texas, scored two of SMUs three goals in the opening week of conference play. She had the teams lone goal in the, 1-1, draw with Fresno State and scored the first goal in a, 2-1, win over San Jose State. She leads the Mustangs with five goals on the season and contributes strongly on both offensive and defensive sides.
