Three-time WAC champions, Louisiana Tech, looks to break a season-high two-game losing streak as WAC action opens on Thursday, Dec. 30. The Lady Techsters will have two tough games, hosting on two of the league's toughest teams, Tulsa and Rice. First-place SMU will also play host to the Golden Hurricane (8-1) and the Lady Owls (7-4).
Red-hot Fresno State (8-1) has won two-straight games. The Bulldogs have already won four road games and take to the road to take on Hawai`i and San Jose State. The Rainbow Wahine, under first-year head coach Jim Bolla, are 4-3. The Spartans are off to a quick 6-3 start.
