The American Volleyball Coaches Association released the 2004 All-Region teams with Hawai`i's Kanoe Kamana`o and Victoria Prince being named to the all-West region teams. UH's Alicia Arnott, Rice's Rebeca Pazo and Nevada's Salaia Salave`a earned honorable-mention all-region.

This is the second-straight year that Kamana`o was honored as all-region, while it's the first time that either Prince or Arnott received all-region awards.

Salave`a, a Leone, American Samoa, native is a two-time First-Team All-WAC selection. This past season she averaged 4.88 kills, 2.69 digs, and 1.42 blocks with a .314 attack percentage.

Pazo, a 5-11 outside hitter from Caracas, Venezuela, led the Owls to their best season on record at 25-5 (.833) and their first trip to the NCAA championships. She led Rice with 452 kills to finish her career as the school's all-time leader with 1,969, which also ranks third in the WAC.

All will now be automatically nominated for All- America honors, which will be released the week of the NCAA Championships.
