The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced its 15 all-District teams and six WAC players received recognition, including four on first teams: Paul Millsap, Fr., F, Louisiana Tech; Michael Harris, Jr., F, Rice; Bryan Hopkins, So., G, SMU; and Kirk Snyder, Jr., F, Nevada.
Millsap leads the nation in rebounding with 12.4 per contest and leads Louisiana Tech in scoring with 15.1 points per game. Harris is the Owls leading scorer and rebounder with 18.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Hopkins leads the Mustangs in both scoring (16.3 ppg) and assists (4.1 apg). Snyder is the WAC's leading scorer with 19.2 points per contest.
The WAC had two second team all-district selections in Jason McKrieth (Rice) and Michael Kuebler (Hawaii). McKrieth leads the WAC in free throw percentage (.855) while Kuebler is second in the conference in scoring with 18.9 points per game.
