DENVER - Boise States Jenny Judd has been selected as the Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week.
Judd, a junior from Idaho Falls, Idaho, finished tied for fifth at the Bobcat Desert Classic and helped lead the Broncos to their first tournament title since the 1999-00 season. She shot a career-best round of 70 in the final round to finish with a 36-hole score of 147, one shot off the lead. The round of 70 ties for the second-best round in school history.
Boise State finished with a 36-hole score of 597, which tied the Broncos with Western Michigan for the team championship. Boise States 36-hole score of 597 was 16 strokes better than the old school record of 613 shot at the Bronco Fall Classic on October 21-22, 2002.
