The 2004 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships begin Thursday, March 18 in College Station, Texas at the Student Recreation Center Natatorium on the campus of Texas A&M. The Aggies will host the three-day event which will have 323 student-athletes from 69 schools in attendance. The WAC boasts 17 athletes in this year's field. SMU, the nation's sixth ranked team, has 10 quailified, and is looking to better its fourth-place finish from 2003. Hawaii, who is ranked 24th in the nation, registers the other seven WAC competitors.
