The Nevada women defended their WAC Indoor title and are ranked 20th this week by the power rankings. The Boise State men, coming off their first WAC Indoor title, look to carry some momentum into this weekend's Last Chance meets. All the WAC teams will send competitors to these meets, looking to qualify more individuals for the NCAA Championships, March 12-13.

After winning the 2004 WAC indoor track & field title in Boise, Idaho last weekend the Nevada is ranked 20th in the latest NCAA I women's power rankings with a score of 260.17. The WAC indoor title was the second in a row for the Pack women's track & field team and third WAC title for Nevada. The other WAC championship team was the 2003 women's cross country squad.
