Below is a registration form for the WAC Basketball Media Day, Oct. 14, at Lawlor Events Center (15th St. and N. Virginia-Map) in Reno, Nevada. The event is open to all media and is a great chance to meet and interview all 20 WAC men's and women's head coaches and some of the top returning players in the conference.The schedule begins Wednesday, Oct. 13 with an informal hospitality/reception room at the El Dorado Hotel(345 N. Virginia-about one mile away from Lawlor Events Center-Map). On Thursday, Oct. 14, the coaches will be available for interviews in the morning following by the player interviews in the afternoon. Both breakfast and lunch will be served at Lawlor on Oct. 14.
Rooms at the El Dorado Hotel can be reserved for $65 per night (plus tax). If you need a room at the El Dorado, please call the hotel directly at 1-800-648-5966, reference the group block WAC BASKETBALL PREVIEW and give them the following code: WAC1124. You can also make reservations online by going to www.eldoradoreno.com/group/WAC
The deadline for requesting a room at the El Dorado is Monday, Sept. 13.
You must also fill out the form below (even if you do not need a room) by Thursday, September 30.
A shuttle will be provided to take you from the El Dorado to Lawlor Events Center and back if you do not have your own transportation. If you do not need a shuttle, please let us know how many parking permits you will need at Lawlor Events Center.
There will be an area to store your luggage at Lawlor Events Center if you are not returning to the hotel on Thursday night.
