Men's NCAA Golf Championship Continues Today


SMU and UTEP's Chris Baryla continue their quest for an NCAA Championship, as the second round of the 2004 Men's Golf Championship is today at The Cascades at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va. Baryla, the 2004 WAC Player of the Year, qualified for the NCAA Championship by finishing tied for fourth in the West Regional. Baryla was four-over on day one, tying him for 68th. SMU placed ninth in the Central Region, led by Will Dodson's second-place finish. The Mustangs are cuurenlty 26th, firing an opening round 297. The four-day tournament runs through June 4.
