DENVER WAC commissioner Karl Benson and Wells Fargo vice president Roger Schmitz today announced that Wells Fargo has been named the title sponsor of the 2005, 2006, and 2007 WAC Mens Golf Championships.
As part of the agreement, Wells Fargo secured the rights to house and manage the WACs checking and investment accounts through the 2006-07 academic year.
We are proud to have Wells Fargo as a WAC championship partner, said Benson. With this agreement, not only have we enhanced this championship, but we have also improved our investment strategy to maximize revenues.
Wells Fargo and the WAC have been partners in some fashion for some time, said Schmitz. It just makes good business sense that two national players like the WAC and Wells Fargo should partner.
The three-year agreement will go into effect immediately.
