Highlights from Thursday's games:

UTEP moved into a tie for first place with Nevada after a 60-55 win at SMU. The Miners scored the final eight points of the game to get the victory. It was the fifth straight game for UTEP decided by five points or less. Omar Thomas scored a game-high 22 points for the Miners.

Bobby Nash converted on a four-point play with 15.5 seconds left in overtime to help give Hawaii a 75-72 win over Rice. Nash scored a career-high 20 points while Jeff Blackett also scored 20 for the Rainbow Warriors. Hawaii has played six WAC games decided by five points or less and is now 1-5 in those contests. Rices Michael Harris scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the game.

San Jose States Marquin Chandler recorded his fourth consecutive double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds in a 76-69 win over Tulsa. Michael McFadden added 19 points off the bench. It was just the Spartans second win in 19 tries against the Hurricane.

Louisiana Tech beat Boise State, 93-60, on Thursday night. It was the largest ever margin of victory for the Bulldogs in a WAC game. Daevon Haskins scored a career-high 19 points to go along with six steals, five rebounds and four assists for Louisiana Tech. Boise States Franco Harris scored a game-high 23 points coming off the bench.
