Marquin Chandler scored a career-high 33 points in San Jose States 90-85 win over Rice. Chandler also grabbed 11 rebounds to record his fifth straight double-double. The Spartans have now won back-to-back conference games for the first time in three years.

Louisiana Tech won its fourth game in a row after beating UTEP, 80-65. Bulldog Donell Allick tied his career-high with 23 points while Paul Millsap recorded his 13th double-double of the season with 20 points and 16 rebounds.

Devon Pearson scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in SMUs 78-69 win over Boise State. Mustang Bryan Hopkins missed his second straight game due to a sprained wrist.

Fresno State defeated Nevada, 66-63, to move into sole possession of third place in the WAC. Senior Mustafa Al-Sayyad led the Bulldogs with 20 points while Nevadas Nick Fazekas scored 23 and grabbed 10 rebounds. A crowd of 11,784 was the largest in the 22-year history of Lawlor Events Center.

Jake Sottos scored 23 of his career-high 25 points in the second half of Hawaiis 76-73 win over Tulsa. Julian Sensley added 21 points for the Rainbow Warriors.
