The preseason accolades keep coming in for Nevada's men's basketball team. After learning last week they were ranked 25th in the nation in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, the Wolf Pack's Nick Fazekas was named one of five preseason All-Americans in the November issue of Basketball Times.
Last year, Fazekas was named the WAC's Player of the Year after leading the league in scoring with 20.7 points per game as a sophomore. He helped lead the Wolf Pack to a 25-7 record and the WAC's regular season title with a 16-2 mark. Nevada advanced to the NCAA tournament where it beat Texas in the first round before losing to Illinois, the NCAA runner-up.
Fazekas joins Illinois' Dee Brown, Duke's J.J. Redick, Boston College's Jared Dudley and Duke's Shelden Williams on the preseason All-America team.
