Hawaii defeated Utah State for the third time this season to win its sixth WAC Tournament title from the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nev. The Rainbow Wahinesbattled to a, 3-0 (30-25, 30-27, 30-25), win to earn the WAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. They were led by Tournament MVP, Victoria Prince who hit .436.
Hawaii, which finishes the regular season with a 25-6 record won its 18th-straight WAC Tournament match. Utah State, which finished 21-12,swas playing its first WAC Tournament and advanced to the final. The Aggies were led by all-Tournament selections, Carolyn Forbush and Zuzana Cernianska.
At the conclusion of the Tournament, the all-Tournament team was announced.
