    WAC GOLFER OF THE WEEK
    Fresno States Brian Kelley, a junior from San Diego, Calif., finished 24th at the Taylor Made Waikoloa Intercollegiate in Waikoloa, Hawaii. In a star-studded field that included nine teams featured in the top 25, Kelley fired a nine-under 207. In firing rounds of 70-68-69, he led the Bulldogs squad.

    SMUS DODSON QUALIFIES FOR NISSAN OPEN
    SMU junior All-American golfer Will Dodson has qualified for the 2005 Nissan Open, to be played at the par-71, 7,078-yard Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., Feb. 17 - 20. The Tulsa, Okla., native shot a 67 on the Eisenhower Course of the Industry Hills Golf Club on Monday, Feb. 14, to become one of just four golfers out of more than 200 participants to earn a qualifying spot.

    Next season, Idaho, New Mexico State and Utah State will join the WAC. All three schools sponsor a mens golf program. The schools will join the WAC July1 , 2005.
