The WAC had six players named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District teams today as announced by the NABC. First-team selections included Louisiana Tech's Paul Millsap, Rice's Michael Harris, Nevada's Nick Fazekas and UTEP's Omar Thomas. Brian Hopkins of SMU and Filiberto Rivera of UTEP were second-team honorees.
Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, the 150 student-athletes, from 15 districts, are now eligible for the NABC Division I All-American Team to be announced at the conclusion of the 2004-05 season.
