For the first time in school history, Nevada has made an appearance in the AP's top 25 poll. The Wolf Pack are 25th in this week's poll after winning six straight games and nine of their last 10. Nevada advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last year and finished the season 21st in the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll but was unranked in the final AP poll which comes out prior to the NCAA Tournament.
Nevada (20-5/12-2) hosts Tulsa (3-10/7-16) tonight at 7:05 p.m. (PT). The Golden Hurricane were the last WAC team to be ranked in the AP poll when it was 20th on Dec. 23, 2002.
