Single-session tickets for the 2005 WAC Basketball Tournament at Lawlor Events Center, March 8-12, are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at the Lawlor Events Center by calling (800) 225-2277 or they can also be ordered online at
www.tickets.com.
Men's individual session tickets are $26 for adult center reserved and the special student section (the lower end zone opposite the tunnel entrance) and $19 for adult upper end zone. All women's sessions including the championship game are general admission and cost $7 each. A special Saturday championship ticket for $26 is also available for both the women's championship game (noon) and the men's title contest (6 p.m.).
All-session tickets are still available through this Friday, Feb. 25, at $125 for adults in the lower bowl and upper center reserved sections, $95 for adult upper end zone and sections 8-18 on the West side and sections 28-36 on the East side, as well as $50 for student all-session tickets. Any tickets ordered after February 25 will only be sold as individual session tickets through the Lawlor Events Center ticket office or via tickets.com online.
Each session includes two games except the championship games, which are each an individual session. Games begin Tuesday, March 8, at noon with a women's game followed by the second women's game beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. The evening two-game session for men starts at 6 p.m. with the second game starting 30 minutes after the first game's conclusion.
Wednesday's afternoon and evening sessions are women's games while all of Thursday's games are men's contests. Friday afternoon will feature the women's semi-finals while the men will compete in the semi-final games that evening. Saturday's championship games are at noon for the women and at 6 p.m. for the men.
