DENVER San Jose States Justin Madison has been selected as the mens Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for February 21 February 27.
Madison, a senior from San Jose, Calif., had the best finish among all WAC golfers at the John Burns Intercollegiate tying for second place. Madison had a personal best 13-under par carding scores of 68-67-68 (203). He is the first San Jose State golfer in over 20 years to put together three rounds under 70 in a major college tournament. It is also the lowest 54-hole total in relation to par by a San Jose State golfer in over 20 years. Myers matched his best place finish at the major college level (was second at the 2003 Santa Clara Invitational).
