He posted rounds of 72-70 in the rain shortened event, leading the Mustangs to their fourth-straight title at the event. Kleckner was one of just four players to finish the tournament under par. As a team, SMU finished six-over to take the title with a 582.Other men nominated: Adam Choy, Boise State; Jeff Krakowiak, Rice and Ryan Henry, Tulsa.SMU WINS FOURTH-STRAIGHT LOUISIANA CLASSICSMU won its fourth consecutive Louisiana Classic championship at the Oakbourne Country Club with a two-round total of six-over-par 582. Tulsa and Kent State finished tied for second with a seven-over-par 583. Louisvilles Daryl Fathauer shot a final-round three-under-par 69 to win the rain-shortened event, while SMU's Dan Kleckner finished tied for second with a two-under-par 142.
