Nevada-Illinois GameTrackerNevada resumes NCAA Tournament action today when the ninth-seeded Wolf Pack (25-6) takes on top-seeded and number one ranked Illinois at 5:40 p.m. (ET) in the second round of the Chicago Regional. Nevada beat Texas in the first round, 61-57, behind Kevinn Pinkney's 15 points on Thursday night. It's the second year in a row that Nevada won its first round NCAA Tournament game. Last year, the Wolf Pack beat Michigan State and Gonzaga to advance to the Sweet 16 where it lost to the tournament runner-up Georgia Tech. The last time a ninth-seeded WAC team beat a No. 1 seed was in 1992 when UTEP defeated Kansas, 66-60, in the second round.
