Fort Collins, Colo. - Jen Warden has resigned her post as Boise State head coach to take the same position at Colorado State University.
Warden interviewed on campus last week, meeting with campus and athletic department staff and administrators, and having the chance to meet with returning members of Colorado State's women's team.
Warden just completed her third season as head coach of the Broncos. She inherited a program making the transition from the Big West Conference to membership in the Western Athletic Conference. In her three seasons as head coach, she featured the league's freshman of the year once, and had two players selected to the all-newcomer team.
Warden formerly played collegiately at the University of Colorado, then spent 10 seasons as an assistant coach in the program and developing a reputation as a nationally-known recruiter. A native of Denver, she graduated from Denver Christian High School.
