The Nevada Wolf Pack (13-4, 3-2 WAC) returns home to Lawlor Events Center on Monday night to play host to WAC newcomer Utah State (12-4, 4-2 WAC). The Big Monday game will be broadcast to a national television audience by ESPN and will tip off at 9:02 p.m. PT. Nevada has turned in an 8-0 record at Lawlor Events Center and will play two of its next three WAC games at home after being on the road for three of its first five. The Wolf Pack looks to get back on track Monday against the Aggies after having its three-game winning streak snapped Jan. 18 at Fresno State. The preseason favorite to win its third consecutive WAC championship, Nevada is currently fourth in the league standings with a 3-2 record, while Utah State is third in the WAC with a 4-2 record and has won its last three games.

Utah State brings a 12-4 overall record and a 4-2 WAC mark to Reno on Monday night. Under the direction of eighth-year head coach Stew Morrill (179-58 record at USU), the Aggies sit in third place in the league standings. Utah State has won its last three games and eight of its last nine, most recently handing WAC leader Louisiana Tech its first loss in league play with a 64-55 victory on Jan. 18 in Logan, Utah. Utah State returns four starters and five letterwinners from last year's 24-8 NCAA Tournament team. In their first year as a member of the WAC, the Aggies were picked to finish second in the league in the preseason polls of the media and coaches.
