DENVER ?“ San Diego?™s Joy Miller has been named the Xbox Live Western Athletic Conference women?™s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week.
Miller, a sophomore, from Bainbridge Island, Wash., scored 22 individual points for San Diego, the second highest individual scorer for the Toreros. She took first place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:11.19 and first place in the 100 butterfly in 58.92. She was substituted into the 200 individual medley at the last minute and managed second place with a time of 2:13.26.
