DENVER - Nevada’s Margaret Doolittle has been named the Western Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week.
Doolittle, a freshman from Sacramento, Calif. (C.K. McClatchy HS), won three individual events and swam on both of the Wolf Pack’s winning 200-yard medley relay teams as Nevada swept Idaho in two duals last weekend. On Friday, Doolittle won the 100 individual medley with a time of 58.81 seconds, and swam the third leg of the Pack’s winning 200 medley relay team. Saturday, she captured the 100 and 200 butterfly events with times of 59:51 and a season-high 2:08.14, respectively, and swam the third leg of the Pack’s winning 200 medley relay team.
