DENVER ?“ Fresno State?™s Jennifer Shipley has been named the Xbox Live Western Athletic Conference Women?™s Golfer of the Week.
Shipley, a freshman from Clovis, Calif., recorded her best collegiate finish at the UNLV Spring Invitational. She shot round of 71-72-75=218 (+2) to tie for seventh. Shipley led the Bulldogs to a sixth-place finish in the 18-team field. It was her second top-10 finish in as many tournaments.
