XBOX LIVE GOLFER OF THE WEEK ?“ Nevada?™s Adam Hagen has been named the Xbox Live Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week.

Hagen, a senior from Scappoose, Ore., led Nevada to an 11th-place finish at the Pioneer Classic. Hagen shot a 10-under, 206 to tie for seventh. Hagan shots rounds of 65-71-70 to lead the Pack.

Others nominated: Jon Rosa, Fresno State and Brendon Ehlers, Utah State.

WAC ENTERS NEW ERA ?“ The WAC is a nine-team league with the additions of Idaho, New Mexico State and Utah State following the departures of Rice, SMU, UTEP and Tulsa. It is the third time in conference history that the WAC will be comprised of nine teams (1980-91 and 2000). Idaho, New Mexico State and Utah State all sponsor men?™s golf.

WAC CHAMPIONSHIP ?“ The 2006 Wells Fargo WAC Championship travels to Boise, Idaho and Crane Creek Country Club. This year?™s Championship will be held May 1-3, 2006.
