As announced by the NCAA, the San Jose State and New Mexico State's women's golf teams were both selected to the NCAA West Regional. Joining them as an individual will be Renee Skidmore of Idaho. The Spartans won the 2006 WAC Women's Golf Tournament, giving them the automatic bid, while the Aggies were an at-large selection. Skidmore joins the field as one of three individual at-large selections. The West regional will be played May 11-13 at the Washington National Golf Club, Las Auburn, Washington, hosted by the University of Washington.
