DURHAM, N.C. - University of Hawai`i Rainbow baseball pitcher Steven Wright earned second team All-America honors by Baseball America, the third All-American list that Wright has been named to.
The Moreno Valley, Calif., native finished his junior year with a 11-2 record, holding a 2.30 ERA with 123 strikeouts in 109.2 innings pitched. He became UH's first 10-game winner since 1996.
Wright has already been named to the National Baseball Foundation and Louisville Slugger All-America teams, while being named the WAC Pitcher of the Year. He's the first UH player to earn Baseball America All-American honors since 1992.
